Senator John McCain’s brother called Northern Virginia ‘Communist Country’

That’s right folks, the McCain-Palin ticket has now hit rock bottom.  Senator McCain’s brother Joe McCain called two Democratic-leaning areas in Northern Virgina “communist country”.

Joe McCain said, “I’ve lived here for at least 10 years and before that about every third duty I was in either Arlington or Alexandria, up in communist country.”  Senator McCain’s campaign spokeswoman Gail Gitcho brushed it off by saying, “This is Joe’s attempt at humor.”  To her I say “bullshit”, Virginia has been a Republican stronghold in Presidential elections until Senator Obama came on the scene.  Senator Obama is now running ahead in state polls and you guys just don’t know what to do.
