Senator Stevens, are there any more ‘gifts’ we should know about?

While the media is captivated with Alaska Governor Sarah Palin the Justice Department is still working very hard on putting Senator Stevens away. 

Yesterday the Justice Department released new filings about more gifts that the Senator did not report. Seems like the Senator loves comfort and has great taste. Yeah, I am talking about the alleged $2,695 message chair that he received as a gift.  Also, the Senator and his lovely wife allegedly had a hand designed stained glass window (value around $3,200) designed and built just for them and also forgot to report it.  And let’s not forget about the sled dog which is valued around $1,000.

Don’t worry Senator, pretty soon all this will come to an end and after doing a little jail time you can go into retirement with your lovely wife.
