Serpent handling pastor Mack Wolford dies hours after bitten by RATTLESNAKE

A Pentecostal pastor known for preaching with a rattlesnake coiled around his arm, died after he was bitten by one of  his creatures.

Mack Randall Wolford, pastor at the Full Gospel Apostolic House of the Lord Jesus, in Matoaka, West Virginia, died hours after he was bitten by the snake on Sunday.

The 44-year-old pastor was holding the snake at a “homecoming” service outdoors when he was set the serpent down during the service.

Reports say the snake suddenly jerked forward and bit the pastor on his thigh.

Wolford, who was the subject of an upcoming documentary that takes an intimate look into his life, was taken to Bluefield Regional Medical Center, where he died Sunday night.

Ironically, Wolford’s father, who was also a snake holding preacher, also died the same way when Wolford was 15.

There is no word on when the documentary, “With Signs Following” by film maker Kate Fowler, will be aired.
