Gunmen opened fire at a church in Central California on Sunday injuring two of its congregants, police confirmed tonight.

Around 3:30 p.m. three masked men entered the New Gethsemane Church of God in Christ and shot at its members hitting two young men.

Police are unsure if the victims, ages 14 and 19, were the intended targets or one of the 100 churchgoers.

The two men, whose identities have not been released, are expected to make full recoveries.

The suspects are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s.
