According to reports, the singer former known as Prince, is in dire need for double hip replacement surgery.
The musician, who is a Jehovah’s Witness, is refusing surgery because of his faith’s believe in blood transfusions.
A source close to the singer said, “He is in a lot of pain, he is popping pain killers and hoping it will all go away,” but Jehovah’s Witness do not believe in blood transfusions.
In 2005, the singer was told he needed a hip replacement, but he refused, and in 2007 and 2008, doctors urged him, again, to get the surgery.
The musician is now walking with a diamond-studded cane to keep him upright.
