Singer Randy Travis arrested for threatening to kill cops while being NAKED and DRUNK

Country singer Randy Travis was arrested last night for DWI and threatening to kill a police officer.

Police in northern Texas were called to the scene of a single vehicle accident by a motorist who said there was “a man lying in the roadway.

When officers arrived, they encountered an inebriated Randy totally NAKED in the roadway and his 1998 Pontiac Trans Am, which had been driven off the road, kissing the barricades in a construction zone.

As the officers were speaking to Randy, the fifty-nine year threatened to “shoot and kill” them.

Randy, who refused to take a blood and breathalyzer test, was taken to the police station without his clothing.  He was later given a shirt for his mug shot.

It wasn’t immediately known what had happened to the singer’s clothing.

Randy was charged with DWI and retaliation for making the threats.  He was released after posting $21,500 bail.

In February, Randy was arrested for public intoxication while sitting in his car in front of a church in Sanger, Texas.
