Jamie Foxx apologized to Miley Cyrus Tuesday night on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” for his off-color remarks he said about the teen star over the weekend on his radio show.
Leno asked the actor, “Did you say something inappropriate?”
“Yeah,” he admitted before taking a deep breath. “I so apologize to (Miley), and this is sincere. I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far.”
Foxx explained his comments were part of the show’s format and style.
“I have a radio show … We’re really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn’t mean it maliciously. You know I’m a comedian. You know my heart,” he continued.
During an interview on Sirius radio “The Foxxhole,” Singer/actor Jamie Foxx had some serious criticisms for Miley Cyrus.
Apparently, Cyrus was upset that Radiohead did not want to meet her backstage at the Grammy’s, and Foxx told listeners that Cyrus should, “Make a sex tape…Get like Britney Spears and do some heroin…get some crack in your pipe..Catch Chlamydia on a bicycle seat.”
I am not a fan of Miley Cyrus, I just don’t get her and I find her very irritating, but Jamie, my brother, what you said was wrong. I got mad love for ya’ but it’s wrong dawg. You are 41 and she is 16. Dude, she is still a child, even though she is allegedly
sleeping with that 20-year-old boyfriend, she is still a child.
I think you should apologize to her.
