Six people stabbed to death on the British isle of Jersey

British authorities have confirmed that six people, including two young children, were stabbed to death inside a Jersey home over the weekend.

The crime occurred around 3:00 p.m. (local time) Sunday in an apartment at Victoria Crescent, Upper Midvale Road, St. Helier.

Reports say five of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene and the sixth person died while undergoing surgery at Jersey Hospital.

Although the identities of the victims, two men, two women and two young children, have not been released, neighbors said they were all members of the same family.

States of Jersey Police currently have a 30-year-old suspect in custody.
