The parents of a six-year-old British girl are outraged that her school labeled her a racist because she told a black girl she had chocolate on her face.

The mother of Sharona Gower said her daughter was eating chocolate mousse and playing, when two 11-year-old girls chased her.

One of the girls, who was black, told Sharona that she had chocolate on her face and Sharona replied, “Well, you have got chocolate on yours.”

The black girl wiped her face then said, “I have got nothing on my face” then after she realized what Sharona meant she went to her teacher and complained.

At the ending of school when Sharona’s mother, Michelle Gower went to pick her up, she was told about the incident and was advised that the incident was noted on Sharona’s record, which is required by law.

Gower and her husband, Nick, are now taking their story to the media saying that Rusthall St. Paul’s C.E Primary School did not do a thorough investigation before branding their daughter a racist.

They said the incident has caused their daughter to be “distressed and confused” because “she hasn’t got an idea what racism is.”
