Small plane crashed in Rockaway Townsquare Mall parking lot in NJ

A pilot was forced to crash land a small plane into the parking lot of the Rockaway Townsquare Mall in New Jersey, next to a Toys R Us store earlier today, authorities said.

According to reports, the pilot and a female passenger crawled out of the single-engine Cessna after the crash, and fortunately, they did not suffer serious injuries.

The 30-year-old plane was heading to Essex County Airport when it encountered engine problems.
