A small plane was forced to land in a residential area in Connecticut on Saturday.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m. Saturday, pilot, Robert Baldwin, issued a “Mayday saying his engine was out. The plane then crashed on the lawn at 39 Briar Ridge.
Baldwin, also from Ridgefield, was conscious when he was taken to the hospital. His injuries are unknown.
The incident is being investigated by the FAA.
The homeowner, Stacey Lockard, who was not at home at the time of the incident, said she was shocked when neighbors called to say there was a plane on her lawn.
