Soccer player kills fan for calling him a “lousy”

A Colombian soccer player is accused of killing a fan who called him “lousy” after the player’s team lost a local championship.

According to reports, Javier Florez, who plays for the Atletico Junior team, shot and killed 27-year-old Israel Castillo for calling him a “maleta,” which means “Lousy in English, days after the midfielder’s team lost the Apertura Championship final to Once Caldas.
