Stamford man found shot to death at Norwalk Hospital

Police in Norwalk are investigating the shooting death of a 21-year-old Stamford man whose body was found at Norwalk Hospital early this morning.

It is said that a security guard at the hospital found the body around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday; however, it’s was not immediately known where on the premises the body was found.

Authorities said the homicide victim lived in the Custer Street public housing project, the same low income housing where 21-year-old Darius Jones was murdered last weekend.

Jones was sitting in a parked vehicle on Spruce Street and Richmond Hill Avenue shortly after mid-night last Saturday, when someone approached the vehicle from behind and opened fire.

It’s unclear whether the two incidents are related.
