Authorities in Prince William County, Virginia said a 20-year-old student at Northern Virginia Community College opened fire today at a teacher in a classroom after the teacher “upset him.”

Jason Michael Hamilton is charged with attempted murder and discharging a firearm in a school zone.

According to reports, the teacher dropped to the floor after Hamilton fired two shots at him without warning.

Hamilton then fled the classroom, but was later arrested in a hallway of the college.

There are no reports as to why the teacher made the student upset.
