Student killed, a day before his prom

An eighteen-year-old Toronto high school senior was killed in a car accident on Thursday afternoon when his car crossed the center lane of a major street and smashed head on into a large truck.

Jeffrey Donahue was killed when he lost control of his Pontiac Grand Am and smashed it into the truck one day before his high school prom.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Donahue had planned to attend Brock University and major in criminology.

A funeral is scheduled for Tuesday at 1:00p.m. at the United Church in Ajax.
