Tara Hawes found in her Queens apartment with her throat slashed…her husband is missing (UPDATE)

Thirty-two year old Jordan Hawes, who is considered to be person in interest in his wife’s murder, was found Sunday night in Connecticut.

Authorities have released very little information on Hawes’ capture other than to say he was found by State Police sleeping on a highway.

Police in New York City are searching for the husband of a woman whose body was found in their second-floor Queens apartment Thursday evening.

Tara Hawes’ body was found around 8:30 p.m. Thursday in her Astoria apartment by her in-laws.

Authorities said her throat was slashed.

Police are searching for Hawes’ husband, who was last seen Tuesday.

It is unclear whether he is considered to be a person of interest.
