Teenager jumps to her death from Eiffel Tower, crashing onto roof of packed restaurant 180ft below

An 18-year-old Brazilian girl vacationing in Paris jumped to her death from the Eiffel Tower and crashed onto the roof of a packed restaurant 180 feet below.

According to reports, the unidentified girl’s twenty-five year old brother frantically tried to stop her from going through a security barrier on the 350feet-high famous second tier landmark.

The teenager landed on the plastic roof of the restaurant five feet about diner’s heads and according to a waiter, after being shocked for a very short moment, diners continued with their meals.

“It was a shocking moment,” the waiter said.  “The smashing noise was like a bomb going off as the roof cracked, then everyone there very quickly realized what had happened.

“But the most bizarre thing was most of the customers just carried on eating.  I have no idea why they did that,” the waiter continued.

According to officials, the girl’s brother was in a “state of extreme shock” and had to be taken to a hospital for treatment.

“He was horrified at what he saw that he could not even tell us his name,” an official said.
