Teenager killed in industrial area in Toronto

Toronto police are investigating the death of 17-year-old Nerio Valdez, whose body was found in a hydro field Sunday afternoon.

Someone walking in the fields discovered the teenager’s body, which runs between a residential and industrial area, and according to authorities, he had been dead for some time.

Residents recalled hearing four gunshots in the area on Thursday evening, and someone told police they saw headlights coming from the field.
