“The Simpsons” are now black

Angolan advertising agency, Executive Center changed the image of “The Simpsons” to an African family for the shows first airing in the African continent.

In addition to change in skin color, the company also replaced the lamps next to the sofa with huge stereo speakers and the picture of the yacht on the wall with elephants.

Once the show starts next month, the characters will go back to being white.

The show is broadcast in more than 90 countries and translated into more than 45 languages since it started in 1989.
