Three tigers ate the flesh off their trainer as dinner guests watched horrified, German authorities confirmed.

The incident happened at a $200 plate circus themed dinner at Hagenbeck Zoo in Hamburg, Germany.

Dinner guests said Christian Walliser was tossed around the room by the three Bengal tigers with chunks of flesh torn from his body.

It is believed that the animals went wild after Walliser, 28, lost his footing and stumbled.

Walliser was airlifted to a local hospital for emergency surgery.

After the incident event organizers vowed to continue with the dinner saying, “The tigers were only playing with Walliser.”
