In the January issue of “Vanity Fair” magazine, Tina Faye talks about the scar on the left side of her face and how traumatized she was when it happened at the age of five..
Apparently, when Tina was five-years old, she was playing in the front yard of her home in Pennsylvania when a stranger approached her and cut her cheek. Tina’s husband Jeff Richmond told “Vanity”, that at the time, Tina thought someone just marked her on her cheek.
In the article, Tina says, “I was a very confident little kid. It’s really almost like I’m kind of able to forget about it, until I was on camera.”
Although she has overcome the obstacle, Tina, whose scenes are often shot from her right side says, she does worry about how it may one day affect her role as a mother to her three-year old daughter.
