Police in Greenwich are searching for the suspects who have been stealing tires and rims from very expensive cars from a dealership on Putnam Ave West.
The first set of rims and tires were taken from a $174,000 Mercedes CL63 in a lot at 315 Putnam Ave. The thieves then moved to a nearby lot where they removed the rims and tires from a 2006 Porsche Carrera 4S.
Police said the culprits then tried to steal the rims and tires from a 2011 Bentley GT and the steering wheel from a 1970 Fiat.
No arrest has been made.
