Canadian authorities have identified the teenager killed in Toronto’s worse shooting incident in history as Shyanne Charles.
Fourteen year old Charles was a well-liked teenager who had many friends in the area and was an active member of the Scarborough Boys and Girls Club.
Police have not identified the 23-year-old man who was also killed.

Canadian authorities are calling last night shooting in Toronto as one of the worse in the city’s history.
The shooting occurred around 10:40 p.m. at a large barbecue at 193 Danzig Street in Scarborough.
Authorities said two people died, a teenage girl and a man in his early 20s, and 22 were injured when a man opened fired at the party.
A motive for the shooting was not immediately known.
The suspect, who has not been identified, is currently hospitalized and is in police custody.
Included in the hundreds of people who were at the outdoor BBQ was a toddler under the age of 3.
A total of 16 ambulances, some from the surrounding regions, transported the injured to area hospitals. Authorities said the majority of the people hospitalized suffered gunshot wounds, while a few suffered cuts and bruises from being trampled on.
