Two found dead in New Canaan condo

Authorities believe the man and the woman whose bodies were found in a New Canaan condo earlier today died in a murder-suicide.

The bodies were found in a condo complex unit on Park Street near Maple Street around 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Police responding to shots being fired found a man already dead from a single gunshot wound to the head.  A woman was also found dead inside the condo; however it’s not immediately known how she died.

It is believed the man, who has not been identified, killed the woman before shooting himself.

The relationship between the two was not immediately known.
