Two men walking into a New York City Home Depot store Monday night were seriously injured when a shopping fell about 40feet from an adjacent parking garage.

Reports say the unidentified men were walking into the store at East 149th Street and River Avenue near Yankee Stadium when someone pushed the cart off a third story parking garage.

The men were taken to Lincoln Medical Center, where one, a 52-year-old, underwent emergency surgery.

An update on his condition was not available at press time.

The other victim, aged 30, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not arrested anyone.

The incident was an eerie reminder of a similar incident at a Target store in Harlem.

Forty-seven year old Mario Hedges was left brain damaged after two 12-year-old boys threw a shopping cart off a Target garage.

The boys pleaded guilty in that incident.
