Uncle Fester, from MJ Morning Show in Tampa, Florida was fired on Friday after a stunt that was being broadcast live online did not go as planned.

According to reports, Uncle Fester was attempting to demonstrate a turkey fryer fire in a plumbing van that was parked in the Clear Channel Radio parking lot, when the fire got out of control for the fire extinguisher that was on hand.

Employees from the station, 93.3 WFLZ, called the fire department and while a firefighter was attempting to put out the blaze he injured himself.

Tampa Fire Rescue said that the station did not have a permit to set the van on fire and did not have an emergency crew on standby.

Florida State Fire Marshal is assisting in an investigation and after the investigation is completed, the information will be passed on to the State Attorney’s Office, who will then decide whether to prosecutor Uncle Fester on second degree felony charges.
