By now we all know that Governor Sarah Palin was against indicted Senator Ted Stevens bridge to nowhere, but what most of us did not know was on October 25th, 2006 during her race for Governor The Anchorage Daily news asked her
5. Would you continue state funding for the proposed Knik Arm and Gravina Island bridges?
And her answer was:
Yes. I would like to see Alaska’s infrastructure projects built sooner rather than later. The window is now–while our congressional delegation is in a strong position to assist.
So, it is quite clear that she was NOT always against wasting tax dollars
As of yesterday, Governor Palin proudly had an endorsement from the recently indicted Senator Ted Stevens on her website, but it was quickly removed after Senator McCain announced that she was going to be his running mate.
Thank goodness for you tube! Take a look at Governor Palin as she proudly accepts the endorsement from the now indicted Senator Stevens during her gubernatorial race in 2006
