Update: 7/9/12

It is believed that 17-year-old Claudia Hidic was robbing the home where she was shot at two weeks ago with two male friends and one of them shot her.

Curtis Fortenberry and Terrace Crumley, both 21, are now facing murder charges.

It is believed that Hidic, who was an aspiring actress, directed the two male suspects to various homes where homeowners kept expensive items.

It is alleged that when Hidic, Fortenberry and Crumley arrived at the duplex home where she was murdered, they found six people inside.

Once inside, there was a shootout between someone inside the home and one of the suspects, and in the chaos, Hidic was struck by a bullet.

Crumley surrendered on Saturday and Fortenberry was already in custody for an unrelated incident

Police in Fort Worth, Texas, are investigating the death of a 17-year-old girl who was found shot to death outside a home last week.

Claudia Hidic, an incoming senior at Trinity High School in Euless, was found shot to death in the back of a home Thursday night.

The homeowner called 911 when he returned home and saw the teenager, whom he said he never met before, lying on his property in the 3000 block of West Overton Park  around 6:15 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the head.

Reports say the back door to the home appeared to have been kicked in and the teenager was lying in the doorway.

As of press time police did not have anyone in custody.
