Not that President-Elect Barack Obama is asking for my opinion, but, if he were to, I would advise him to give it to Bill Richardson.
As I mentioned before in an earlier post, I thought the Gov. of New Mexico, Bill Richardson, would have made a great VP. But, since that position is already taken, I think he should be the next Secretary of State.
Governor Richardson was ambassador to the United Nations during former President Clinton administration. He also conducted freelance diplomacy for the U.S in Sudan and North Korea. And, in 1998, he served as Secretary of the Department of Energy.
Although I did not think former First Lady Hillary Clinton was the right candidate for President or VP of the United States, and I had some colorful words when describing her. I truly believe she is a very intelligent person and I respect her tremendously.
That being said, I do believe the best place for Senator Clinton would be a Supreme Court Judge, or chair a high profile committee as a Senator.
But like I said before, no one is asking me for my opinion.
