Why didn’t President Obama kiss First Lady Carla Bruni?

Everyone is making such a big deal about President Barack Obama’s decision not to kiss France’s First Lady Carla Bruni.

When the president and Mrs. Obama met French President Nicholas Sarkozy and his supermodel wife, Carla Bruni, Mrs. Obama and Ms. Bruni warmly embraced each other with a kiss on each cheek.

President Obama and President Sarkozy shook hands and then President Sarkozy kissed Mrs. Obama on her cheek. But, what happened next has American and United Kingdom reporters wagging their tongues.

First Lady Carla Bruni attempted to kiss President Obama, and instead of his cheek, he extended his hand for a shake.

Come on reporters, you need to leave Obama alone.  He was only being respectful to his wife. He was in a no win situation, because if he had kissed her some of you would have started rumors, and who knows, maybe Michelle told him to watch it.  I know if he were my husband I would not want any woman touching him, not even a handshake. I know how some of you women are, a handshake today next thing you know, you are telling the man to leave his wife.
