A Norwalk man who tried to kill his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend has been arrested in South Norwalk.
Police said William Davis called his ex-girlfriend’s apartment Monday morning knowing that her new boyfriend was inside her Bedford Avenue apartment. They said he was able to convince her to leave her home with her 5-year-old child and then entered the home where he found the man lying in a bed sleeping.
Twenty-three year old Davis, of Novak Street, then stabbed the man before fleeing the home.
Police later found him riding his bike in South Norwalk and charged him with home invasion and first-degree burglary.
He is being held on $250,000 bond.
The victim is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
