Woman falls off Billy Goat Trail after saying “Yes” to marriage proposal

An unidentified woman who had just accepted a marriage proposal while hiking with her fiancé got an unexpected ride in a helicopter to a local hospital.

According to reports, the couple was hiking the Billy Goat Trail along the Potomac River in Maryland on Sunday. After finding the “perfect” spot, the unnamed man asked the unnamed woman to marry him. After saying “yes” to her future husband, the woman lost her footing and fell onto a large, jagged rock.

The woman was taken by helicopter to a local hospital where she was treated and released.
