How Lin-Sane is this?

A New York City woman paid $43,388 for a Knicks’ ticket for her husband, who is a die- hard Jeremy Lin fan, to attend tonight’s game.

Mitchell Schecter’s wife bought the ticket online at CharityBuzz.com so that the star struck 58-year-old lawyer could attend tonight’s game against the Hawks at Madison Square Garden.

One would think that a price this high would get the lawyer a floor seat next to Spike Lee, oh no, Schecter will be seated in the 11th row.  But, the Lin-Sanity really starts after the game when Schecter gets to meet Lin-Majesty, who will personally give him the jersey he wore in the game against the Lakers two weeks ago.

All this was arranged by MSG’s Garden of Dreams Foundation.

Schecter says he feels like star struck 14-year old boy.

Speaking of Lin-Majesty, less than two weeks after moving off his brother’s living room couch that had been his home for the past several months, Lin now has two New York City homes.

In addition to his 1,182 square-foot apartment at Trump Tower in White Plains, Lin has rented a furnished room at the W Hotel in the Financial District for those nights when he doesn’t feel like driving home to Westchester.

The two-bedroom hotel suite comes with a price tag of $8,900 a month.

This is all so Lin-Sane!
