Woman’s body pulled from Fort Totten Park in Queens

Authorities in New York City believe the woman, whose body was found floating in Little Neck Bay in Queens on Tuesday morning, committed suicide.

The woman’s body was found around 10:15 a.m. Tuesday by two men walking near Fort Totten.  The men called 911 and FDNY’s Marine 4 unit removed the body and tried reviving her with CPR to no avail.

The woman, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Early reports say the 20-something year old woman committed suicide.  Her car, a red 2012 Toyota Corolla was found parked haphazardly in a parking lot nearby.
