A 48-year-old bodybuilder from Seattle, Washington, who attacked his girlfriend outside her home on Christmas Eve, has been arrested and charged with murder after his victim died on Christmas Day.
Authorities said Prudence Hockley was speaking with Johnnie Lee Wiggins outside her home when she was attacked around 11:00 p.m.
Her 13-year-old daughter heard a loud noise outside and when she went out to investigate she found her mother unconscious.
Neighbors said they saw a man, who was later identified as Wiggins, walking away from Hockley’s home.
Hockley succumbed to injuries she suffered and died on Christmas Day at Harborview Medical Center
Report say Wiggins was on parole for crimes committed in George and Washington state.
Hockley, who is originally from New Zealand had been teaching at Woodinville High School since 1997.
It is unclear how long she and Wiggins had been dating
