Yu Wenxia is Miss World 2012

Congratulations to Yu Wenxia of China, the 23-year-old music student was crowned Miss World 2012, which was held in China on Saturday.

Wenxia, who says she would like to be a music teacher, enjoys hiking, traveling, singing, dancing and playing the piano.

Sophie Elizabeth Moulds of Wales was crowned first runner-up and Jessica Michelle Kahawaty of Australia was named second runner-up.

California born Claudine Book representing the U.S. was cut during the swimsuit part of the competition.
